A BILL to amend article nine, chapter sixty-four of the
code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred
thirty-one, as amended, by adding thereto a new
section, designated section nineteen, relating to
authorizing the athletic commission to promulgate a
legislative rule relating to the Commission.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article nine, chapter sixty-four of the code of
West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section,
designated section nineteen, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 9. AUTHORIZATION FOR MISCELLANEOUS AGENCIES AND
BOARDS TO PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.
§64-9-19. Athletic commission.
The legislative rule filed in the state register on
the eighth day of July, one thousand nine hundred
ninety-nine, under the authority of section twenty-four,
article five-a, chapter twenty-nine, of this code, modified
by the athletic commission to meet the objections of the
legislative rule-making review committee and refiled in the
state register on the twenty-fourth day of January, two
thousand, relating to the athletic commission
(administrative rules and regulations of the West Virginia
state athletic commission, 177 CSR 1), is authorized.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the
Athletic Commission to promulgate a legislative rule
relating to the Administrative Rules And Regulations Of The
West Virginia State Athletic Commission
